MIKKI'S BIOGRAPHY
Mikki is a native of Houston, Texas. As a young girl Mikki has always had dreams of becoming an extraordinary singer. Mikki was a very musically talented student. She attended Boh Grimes Grammar School in where she was active in the choir. Mikki also mixed her dance talents and became a UMA DEMA DANCE TROOP. As Mikki entered middle school she continued her love for music and dance. Mikki attended the Attucks Academy Choir at Attucks Middle School using again her gifted voice.
During her high school years she attended Worthing High School where she again joined the Mustang Pride Choir and later attended Book T. Washington where she performed songs for many functions there. Mikki has many singers that has influenced her such as Jill Scott, Eryka Baduh, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Fantasia, Alicia Keys, Amanda Perez, SWV, En Vogue, Boyz 2 Men, Jamie Fox, Brian McKinght and Jagged Edge. Mikki's voice is a beautiful instrument, and her gift of choreography with Asida Soul will be another chapter in her musical career.
